Outdoor Education Specialist
Jye Tebble
For several years, I’ve led students on outdoor camps, guiding adventures that build teamwork, resilience, and an appreciation of nature—all whilst sharing plenty of laughs. I’ve also travelled Australia in my van to tour guide in Wilsons Promontory, Western Australia, and Tasmania—helping others explore incredible landscapes whilst getting way too excited about birds for most tourists who came to see whales.
This passion for adventure led me to hike 4,000 kilometres along the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. Over five months, I hiked with strangers from across the globe who became my closest friends as we navigated the highs and lows of life on the trail, forging connections where nature, challenge, and shared experiences brought us together.
I feel privileged to be part of the School for Student Leadership, a community that embodies fun, nurtures growth, and fosters a love of adventure. Most of all, I hope to inspire students to embrace challenges, grow in confidence, learn from one another, and create memories they’ll carry for life.
