School for Student Leadership

and our Mission is to provide an immersive State-wide residential program for Year 9 Government school students which enables them to grow into better citizens and leaders through increased self-awareness, social engagement, community connection and environmental stewardship.

Exploring Birrarung (Yarra River), becoming part of the landscape and seeing the local world through different perspectives.

At the SSL Alpine School Campus, we utilise the local environment to allow our emerging leaders to apply their learning from the classroom

Within the local community, both indoors and outdoors, they’re able to increase the connectedness to the environment and their respective communities, develop their own self-worth and self-belief and create stronger relationships with their communities of peers, families, and staff.
